On The Needles: Lazy Katy

So I cast on Lazy Katy by Birgit Freyer today in Noro Taiyo Sock yarn, colorway #3 on US Size 8 needles. So far, the pattern is extremely easy and terrific mindless knitting.  What's concerning me a tad is all of the comments from knitters who've knit it, who've had trouble with the edging.  Luckily, there is a terrific YouTube video out there explaining the crochet BO, but I see a lot of knitters also had trouble with the stitch/row counts and picking up the stitches to begin the edging.  So I'm going to whip through the body of the shawl and hope it all clicks when I get to the edging.

If you've knit Lazy Katy and have some hints, tips, or links to tips - please, please share! :)

  1. I LOVE colorway #8, but #3 might be calling my name... I wish they had a color with just the blues.

  2. I can't wait to see this one finished!

  3. I just cast this on yesterday! So far so good - I was gifted some gorgeous yarn for my birthday and had to start it right away!
