On The Blocking Mats: Shawls!!

Different Line Blocked
This is Different Lines by Veera Valimaki.  I knit it in Three Irish Girls Adorn Sock in Interlaken colorway and Wollmeise 100% Merino Superwash in Feldmaus colorway on US size 6 needles (4.0mm).  It's an asymmetrical, garter stitch shawl that utilizes short row construction.

Wingspan Blocked
This is Wingspan by maylin Tri'Coterie Designs.  I knit it in Fibernymph Dyeworks Bedazzled in Wayfarer colorway on  US size 4 needles (3.5mm).  This is also an asymmetrical, garter stitch shawl that utilizes short row construction to create 8 triangles. It was SO fast and easy to knit.  PERFECT TV knitting!

  1. I so love both of these shawls!! Though, I haven't looked through Rav yet to see the different ways people are wearing them. I'm not huge on the lacy shawls & both of these are calling my name! Definitely jealous of your blocking boards too ;)

  4. Where do you purchase those blocking boards? I've been blocking on sheets over quilts on the rug, and nothing is level or even.
