Finished my Curly Purly Pumpkin

I finally finished it! Just in time for the KAL to end!! Nothing like waiting until the last minute. The ladders I experienced early in the project disappeared and my pumpkin looks pretty good. And the best part - NO DPNs!! You gotta love Magic Loop!

  1. I love it! That is so adorable. How long did it take? You are so creative. You go girl!

I have not moved on from scarves yet but I would love any advice you can give about the difference between DPNs and the magic loop. I want to move on from scarves but I feel so intimidated by all of the different needles and such. Thanks in advance!

  2. It only took me about 1 hour of knitting plus stuffing it and attaching the stem (I cheated on the stem and used one of those i-cord looms! - I HATE knitting i-cord.)So it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes total. I'm already on pumpkin #2 in a different yarn in a slightly different color. You could make an entire pumpkin patch! You really could change up the size by using different weight yarns and casting on in multiples of 5..
